The new Dunkin’ Donuts on New Falls of Neuse Road opened late last week in the small building behind Kerr Drug. It’s the only one with a decent drive from anywhere in Wake Forest, and most likely the closest one with a drive-through window.
Beware of changing traffic congestion during the morning commute hours.

Dunkin’ diehards in the area can rejoice. A new Dunkin’ Donuts is opening in Wakefield in the Food Lion plaza near Kerr Drug.
We got wind if this thanks to one our “tweeps”, sltrunzo (@sltrunzo). She exclaimed by tweet: “Hallelujah our Northern prayers answered – a Dunkin Donuts in North Raleigh/Wake Forest. I yipped in glee when I saw the sign!”

Continue reading …The Wake Forest-North Raleigh area’s Relay for Life opens tomorrow at 6 p.m. at Wakefield High School with a survivors dinner and continues all weekend. The relay is a fund-raiser for cancer research, and the money raised goes to the American Cancer Society.
