Not that Wake Forest’s Ted Rogers is a lazy man, but imagine a garden that doesn’t require any soil prep. Wouldn’t be nice not to amend and amend that hard clay we have around here?

WRAL caught up with Rogers recently to talk about his straw bale garden. He lined up a bunch of inexpensive and readily available bales and shows how his tomato plants produced a bumper crop in past seasons.
