The Wake Forest Parks & Recreation Department is sponsoring a Halloween Spooktacular on Thursday, Oct. 20, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Flaherty Park Community Center, 1226 N. White St. Admission to the event is free. The Halloween Spooktacular is a family-oriented event for children ages 12 and younger.
