Grow and Share Festival Returns

The Grow And Share Music Festival returns for its second year, making Rolesville NC the place to be during Labor Day Weekend. On Sunday, September 5th the festival expects to fill Main Street Park with food, games, and music, providing visitors with an exciting holiday outdoors.

The Grow And Share Music Festival 2010 starts at 10:30am on Sunday, Septemper 5th. Entry and parking are free. There will be live music, hot and icy foods, a Silent Auction, farm education stations, play areas, face and hand painting, a local baseball celebrity, and much more. Festivities run until 5:00pm. The festival location is Main Street Park, 200 S. Main Street, Rolesville, NC.

“We’re pleased to make Rolesville our festival’s home, and grow this event each year with their support,” says Kay Whatley, Creative Director of Grow And Share. “Rolesville is one of the fastest growing towns in Wake County, and we want to grow our festival with it.”

Rolesville Music Festival For A Good Cause In September

July 15 2009, Zebulon, North Carolina USA – Music festival offers a day of folk, rock, jazz, and community building

Times are tough, and the number of needy families is growing. Many food banks are facing bare shelves. A non-profit, Grow And Share, is fighting hunger through gardening and community produce distribution. Now, to raise funds for their fight against hunger, they are holding a music festival in Rolesville, NC. The day offers music, a variety of food, a canned food collection, kids activities, farm education stations, and more.

“Because community is of such importance, we felt the best way to raise funds for our projects is to provide a day of community and sharing,” said Kay Whatley, Creative Director at Grow And Share.

The Grow And Share Music Festival is scheduled for Sunday, September 6, 2009. Festivities kick off at 10am and run until 8pm that evening. Entry is free and parking is available all around the festival location, which is Main Street Park, Rolesville NC USA.
