Wake Forest residents planning to take the Spring New Homes Tour won’t have to go very far to see almost two dozen homes this weekend.

Heritage Wake Forest will the most homes of any development on the tour at 12 homes. Four more homes are in Wake Forest, one in Rolesville, and several within a short drive around North Raleigh. Tour dates are March 24 and 25, noon until 5 p.m. each day.

This free, self-guided tour runs for one weekend every March. All homes feature new neighborhoods and upcoming home design trends throughout the Triangle. Some homes will be decorated and some will just show the finished space, but all of the homes are new construction.

The builders of each tour home will be on-site this year to meet with prospective home buyers.  Each year developer Ammons Development Group partners with the Heritage builder team to assure a wide variety of homes will be on tour in the community. Heritage’s tour homes represent a variety of styles with pricing ranging from $334,750 to $541,500.  Tour maps will be available in the community information center to guide visitors through the community.

“We are seeing a lot of activity in the marketplace,” said Andy Ammons, President of Ammons Development Group.  “The economy is improving and interest rates remain historically low.  With 12 homes on tour in one community, Heritage is sure to be on everyone’s must-see list.”

Heritage Wake Forest is composed of 26 neighborhoods ranging from starter townhomes in the $140s – $400s to single family homes from the low $220s – $600s.  The vast array of recreational amenities including golf, tennis, two swim complexes, miles of walking and biking trails, greenways, playgrounds, soccer fields, amphitheater and a fully stocked fishing pond.

This year’s tour is sponsored by ProBuild.
